Yeah its true, Metacafe.com which is the world’s biggest entertainment website has just launched their mobile site but the website is in its very initial testing stages. And it is yet to be announced officially.

I am regular viewer of metacafe.com and i also upload my videos there. I usually check my channel and videos ratings through my cell phone. Yesterday according to my common practice i thought of checking my channel status on metacafe via my cell phone but when when i entered the URL metacafe.com in my cell phone browser i was surprized to see a different website than i expected. What’s the current procedure for finding a particular type of image on the Web? At present, the only way to search for images is based on text captions that people have entered by hand for each picture, and unfortunately many images lack such information.

Researchers have been desperately trying to discover an efficient way for such a search wherein a caption, or any information based on manually entered text is not required. The credit after all goes to MIT researcher ñ they have successfully done it. It takes surprisingly few pixels of informationto be able to identify the subject of an image.
